It is said that the mystic-philosopher the Comte de Saint Germain was “immortal”; this is explained in greater detail in this journal, but what is certain is that he took good care of his health and lived a very long time given the average lifespan for the period. What was uncommon at the time, like avoiding meat, not drinking alcohol very much if at all, and deliberate exercise is now known to extend our lives, improve our thinking, feelings, and perspective on life. It is a foundational practice for the modern Hermetist.
